1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the website, donation portal, or any digital service provided by Jesus Christ's Worship Centre Ministry (JCWCM), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. About JCWCM
Jesus Christ's Worship Centre Ministry is a religious organisation registered in Kenya under the Societies Act (Reg No. 36557). Our registered office is P.O. Box 2388 - 40200, Kisii, Kenya.
3. Donations
All donations made through our platform are voluntary gifts in support of our ministry work. By submitting a donation, you confirm that: • You are at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian • The payment method belongs to you or you have authorisation to use it • You are not violating any laws of your jurisdiction Donations are processed through Paystack, our authorised payment processor. We accept card (Visa, Mastercard) and M-Pesa payments. All amounts are processed in Kenyan Shillings (KES); foreign-currency donations are converted at the prevailing rate at time of payment.
4. Refunds
Donations are irrevocable and non-refundable, except in the following cases: • Duplicate charge due to technical error • Fraudulent use of your payment method (report immediately) • Unauthorised transaction where you notify us within 7 days To request a refund for any of these reasons, email giving@jcwcm.org with your transaction reference within 30 days of the charge. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within 10 business days.
5. Recurring Gifts
You may choose to make a recurring gift (weekly or monthly). By selecting a recurring option, you authorise us to charge your card the agreed amount at the specified interval until you cancel. To cancel a recurring gift: • Email giving@jcwcm.org with your transaction reference and request to cancel • Or reply to any email receipt with "Cancel Recurring Gift" Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No further charges will occur after that.
6. Tax Treatment
JCWCM is registered as a religious organisation under Kenyan law. For Kenyan donors, donations may be tax-deductible under certain conditions — please consult a tax advisor. For international donors, tax-deductibility depends on the laws of your country of residence; we recommend consulting a local tax professional. We issue receipts for all donations automatically by email.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information • Distribute malware or engage in denial-of-service attacks • Scrape, copy, or republish our content without written permission • Use the platform in any way that violates the Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes Act of Kenya or any applicable law We reserve the right to block access to any user who violates these terms.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website (text, images, code, design, logos) is the property of JCWCM or its licensors and is protected by copyright law. You may view and share links to our content for personal, non-commercial use. Any other reproduction, modification, or redistribution requires written permission.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that: • The website will be uninterrupted or error-free • Any defects will be corrected immediately • The service is free of viruses or other harmful components You use our services at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JCWCM is not liable for: • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities • Damages caused by third-party payment processors (Paystack, banks, mobile networks) Our total liability arising from any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you donated in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
